Drum & Container Heaters

 

 

We supply a range of jacket heaters for a wide variety of plastic, metal and fibre containers including standard drums & IBCs. High quality insulation and direct contact with the drum ensures much higher efficiency than can be obtained with traditional band heaters

 

Standard heaters are suitable for use in non hazardous atmospheres. Thermosafe drum & process inductance heater is ATEX certified (Zones 1&2 - Ex II 2GD Eex e T3 170°C)

Scuff and water resistant polyurethane coated nylon outer surface fitted with adjustable retaining straps and quick release polyethylene clips

 

High thermal efficiency layer of insulation between outer cover and inner element carrier

 

Woven silicon insulated heating element

 

 

Efficiency

 

 

High quality insulation and direct contact with the drum - ensures much higher efficiency than can be obtained than with traditional band heaters. Advantages are:

Also available 110V / -5 to 40°C thermostat / 0-90°C thermostat

 

 

IBC2 as pictured right (2200W - 2 x 1100W - double heated jackets) typically used for pre-heating vegetable oil feedstock. Upper & lower jackets can be used independently e.g. if IBC is partially full, or lower power required for maintenace of IBC temperature. Supplied with 0 to 90°C thermostat as standard
